The intermittent stage develops after a few years of untreated of acute gout. During attack, the same treatments for acute gout attack may be used.

There are intervals between attacks in which a person does not have any symptoms.
Take non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or colchicine for an ongoing attack. |
